This Banana Bread (Cake) recipe is delicious and one of the best I’ve ever had! Not that I’m biased or anything ;). Super easy to make as well.
It’s called a cake and a bread is because when making this recipe I used a cake pan. Why you might ask? Because when I’ve made banana bread before it was always overcooked on the outside and undercooked in the inside. This might have been because I was cooking it too long or my temperature was wrong… I don’t really know. But when I tried it with the cake pan, it was cooked beautifully! Not overcooked or undercooked, just perfect. Not to blow smoke up my you know what…
How to Make Banana Bread (Cake):
This Banana Bread (Cake) is super easy to make, especially with some of these hacks I’ve included.
First step is to grease whatever pan you’re using (this recipe works for a normal loaf recipe as well as the cake) and to dust the pan with flour. Also, set the oven to 350°F.
Then, I mash up the bananers. I use 3 really ripe bananas and my hack is to put them in a ziplock and smash them with your hands. This is not only more fun, but I’ve found that it mashes the bananas easier and quicker. Like so ↓.
Put the mashed bananas in a bowl and add the eggs, melted butter and vanilla.
Use a sifter when putting in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the sugar and cinnamon.
Put the mixed batter into the pan of your choosing and cook for 35 minutes in the cake pan and 50-60 minutes in the normal loaf pan.
Insert toothpick and if there’s no batter on it then it’s done! I normally let it cool for about 10 minutes before transferring it out of the pan, and you’re done making your Banana Bread/Cake!
Happy Baking!
