THE Brownie Cake

You’re welcome friends, for making this a thing. This brownie cake is perfect for just about anything. It’s a step above brownies, because it’s technically a cake, but just as easy.

How to Make the Brownie Cake:

Start by combining flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and chocolate jell-o mix (makes it super moist) in a medium-large bowl. Combine well, should look like this ↓

Then add eggs, oil and water. Combine well, then add chocolate chips.

I know, I know, it looks really slimy, but trust me, it tastes delicious. Now you’re gonna want to add it to your cake pan. Don’t forget to grease said cake pan. Here’s a pic after it’s cooked, which you’re gonna want to do at 350°F for 30 minutes.

Don’t forget to use the good ole’ toothpick trick, never fails. Although with this recipe it’s kinda hard, because you have melted chocolate chips in there that stick to your toothpick…maybe use the good ole’ touch with your finger trick. If the cake springs back when you press your fingers into the middle of the cake, it’s done. If it leaves little indents, leave her in for 5 more minutes.

After that your done! Do with your brownie cake what you will. I recommend some whipped cream and strawberries on top, makes it that much better. Here’s another pic…after my family came into the kitchen…

Happy Baking!
